In Memphis, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Tennessee, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. They have great coustmer service and they are very friendly. I ask many questions about certain plants and they are very informational. Ive been going to them for years. They mostly sell whole sale but also have customers buy single plants. This is my favorite greenhouse.
